NaClCON is a three-day, community-driven conference dedicated not to zero-days or bleeding-edge releases, but to how we got here. This event focuses on the history of hacking—the ideas, moments, and people that shaped the hacker community and its enduring ethos. The speakers at NaClCON are legends within the industry, sharing firsthand stories, lessons learned, and the paths that led to the creation and enrichment of the culture we know today.

NaClCON is intentionally intimate. Attendance at the main conference is limited to 300 participants, fostering meaningful conversations and genuine connection between speakers and attendees. Beyond the main event, there are multiple ways to participate and enjoy the conference alongside fellow hackers.

We brought this conference to Carolina Beach for a reason — the energy here is real. The welcoming locals, the independent spots, the laid-back coastal character… it’s the kind of place people don’t forget.

Our attendees are traveling professionals who stay a few nights, eat well, tip well, and genuinely enjoy exploring where they land.
